In a recent drive from the East coast to CO, we made a stop off in Santa Fe,,, a town rich in color, a thriving art scene, not surprising with its history and dramatic landscape.
Rich, earthy colors inspire artists in paintings and woven fabrics.

Back by popular demand, stretchy headbands in multiple designs....New technology allows for extra stretch!!!
You can't say there isn't color here. On the outside appears an ancient, dusty city wall on the inside a maze of market action. Art and crafters, butchers, herbalists, metal workers...donkeys. Each door way, window or furniture carefully removed, intricately refurbished with fresh colour and the finest of brushes. Methodical, precise, intricate.
To kick start the dinnerware market's year I take an annual trip to Ambiente Houseware fair in Frankfurt Germany. As a side trip to inspire and create I flew into Lisbon and visited the fishing village of Sesimbra. Famous for its tiles and cobbled streets
Portugal was a delight to visit after such a long time. Its fishing industry thriving and was celebrated everywhere from its murals, artwork and tiles everywhere.
Famous for its tiles and narrow cobbled streets, Portugal was a delight to visit after such a long time...Sesimbra's fishing industry was booming and was evident from all its art in tile form and murals.
I like to shop in the UK. Its colours and merchandizing are always an inspiration.

Lime greens and pale yellows with warm greys are my favorite.
Inspiring me to paint at home!!
Lots of Coral here, vivid and soft mixed with pale teal and more warm greys compliment each other.
