Originally from England, Vicky Lowe learned watercolors
from her father, an award winning architect in the UK.
After graduating University with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design,
she moved to London to begin her career
designing and illustrating for National newspapers,
magazines, design agencies, advertising and children's books.
After London she moved to New York City to expand on her
design experience.
Here she began working in Housewares, designing Tabletop
and textiles for
Williams- Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, Target,
Bloomingdales and Lenox.

After 13 years of working in the houseware industry,
she decided to make a big move from Brooklyn to the Island of
Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
Here she found a love of the ocean, a passion for surf and the desire
and space she needed to create her own designs.
Working with North Carolina based Spoonflower,
she began designing specifically for digitally printed fabric for the home.
Using natural fibers, eco friendly inks and
the best quality linen cotton,  she founded her business
A Good Catch.
Each design has Vicky's unique watercolor style.
Whimsical in theme, inspired by her travels or coastline where
she lives she designs fabric by the yard.
Each yard is then cut and sewn to create T Towels, pillows, table runners,
or home accessories. Vibrant in color, full of charm and
designed to add joy to your home will make you smile.
She sells her work locally at galleries, farmers markets and the
exhibits along the East Coast of the US, selling her work.

"Watercolor should be a fresh, vibrant and spontaneous process with plenty of color and water flow."
